No disrespect to David Wright but Ike Davis could have helped the Mets tonight. Davis gives the Mets another chance for a big inning. Having Jason Bay and Carlos Beltran come up short in a big spot in the top of the seventh made me realize that having another slugger like Davis in the lineup would have closed the gap between the two teams in tonight's game.
On the bright side, I have been very impressed with Reyes defensively in this series. He had a great night amid the loss.
