Mets Have Had Their Share of Losing, Now They Just Need to Win

"We're not a bad team, we're playing bad," Manager Terry Collins after the Mets dropped their 11th loss in their last 12 games. "We're not doing anything right right now."

Since the All-Star break, the Mets have managed just one measly win. Their record now stands at 47-50.

"Nobody wants to perform like this and have a record like this," last night's losing pitcher for the Mets, R.A. Dickey. "We've lost a lot of close games. But we have to win some of them, too. It's disappointing."
