It's the end of another long and arduous season, the Mets told all of us at the beginning of the year that the team was going to be competitive, that there was plenty of funds to compete on the main stage...but Mets fans were duped, they had been had, after witnessing a solid month of June that saw their record hover around five hundred, the ballclub sent veteran players like Carlos Beltran and Francisco Rodriguez packing.
Throughout the 2011 campaign, there was this very live volcano waiting to erupt, a major lawsuit being played out with the main characters of Peter and Paul being portrayed as Fred and Saul...
