I totally agree that the Mets should part ways w/Ollie...if Minaya is man enough to admit that he made a mistake, perhaps he could trade Perez and pay the majority of his contract...not only is Perez on the downward spiral, he has a poor attitude, last year was embarrassing, he went to the WBC, sat back and got fat off his new contract, the extra weight caused more stress on his knee, terrible mess all around, the only reason the Mets fell prey to his resume is because he was being labeled as a "big-game" pitcher...good Ollie/bad Ollie, Mets fans can live with but bad Ollie/bad Ollie, is too much for any Mets fan to tolerate.
