Fireworks And Phillies for Mets Fans on the Fourth
I know that the Mets lost today, 9-2, but it really doesn't matter. I was still on cloud nine from the night before. Let me explain, I was at the game on Tuesday night and afterwards they ran a full fireworks display at Citi Field that honored the Mets legacy from past to present. It began with glimpses of the Miracle Mets of '69 all the way up to Johan's No-No. The best of all was that not only did the Phillie fans that were in attendance endure an 11-1 drubbing but they were made to sit through the post -game festivities as well. It was a great night for Mets fans.
