When It Counts, Reyes Has A Mid-Life Crisis

I thought Reyes was a little too aggressive in that final at-bat on Wednesday night...you could tell that Nunez was rattled after David Wright took him deep to make the score, 5-4, in the top of the ninth, in addition to the solid hits by Frenchy and Thole...it seemed like the Marlins were pitching around Castillo to get to Reyes...at this stage of Reyes' career, he has to learn a little restraint at the plate in these late-game situations, you could tell that Nunez didn't have it on this night.

Not sure is Pat Misch is the answer, Ryota Igarashi, again, was ineffective...Niese and the gang will now go for the series win on Thursday night.

Side note, did you hear Ojeda after the game, he was pretty ticked off that the Mets were watching the Braves/Rockies game…come on Bobby O, all baseball players scoreboard watch this time of year.
